Die Höfe zu Preussen - In the 19th century Karl E. Vehse published a series of books about the German courts. In the 1990s several of his books were republished in the Die Höfe zu series with black-and-white pictures and a genealogical overview at the end of each book. Now some of these books have been republished again in a new series Könige Privat. Preussens Könige Privat contains biographies from king Friedrich I to king Friedrich Wilhelm III with 46 pages for Friedrich II alone. This new publication doesn t include any pictures or genealogical information or index and some biographies are easier to read than others.
